DLOUHODOBÁ PÉČE O NESOBĚSTAČNÉ SENIORY A KVALITA ŽIVOTA JEJICH PEČUJÍCÍCH
Abstract
The article focused on issue of long-term care of dependent elderly and quality of life their carers. The care has an impact on quality of life of family members. The research was carried out throught questionaire and interview. Quality of life was measured using WHOQOL. The research aimed to identify what are the current levels of quality of life of family members and what factors affect to this quality of life. We found lower quality of life for family caregivers in comparison with the Czech population. Main factor which affect quality of life was degree of elderly dependence. This research is a contribution to a description of life situation and position of family carers taking care of dependent elderly.References
