Title: Health & Caring

Health & Caring is a peer-reviewed, scholarly, open access journal that publishes papers in areas relevant to non-medical health professions, particularly in the areas of clinical practice, education, and management. The journal creates a space for expanding the potential of non-medical health professions and for collaboration between these professions and with other related disciplines (e.g. medicine, sociology, bioethics, etc.). The journal accepts original, unpublished research papers that are characterized by timeliness and relevance of content.

Publisher: This is a professional and scientific journal of the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Pardubice, the Department of Nursing of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, and the Faculty of Health Studies of the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.

Aims and Scope:

The aim of the journal is to deepen the knowledge of readers and to disseminate new knowledge and results of medical research in non-medical health professions, especially in the areas of

- clinical practice,

- nursing,

- education,

- management,

- medical and health care ethics,

that are evidence-based.

Focus: all activities and competencies of the non-medical health professions

The journal is intended for: nursing, midwifery, and other non-medical health professions in any job role
